You are invited to join the Loyola Latino Alumni Society as we celebrate our Spring MIXER at Suede Bar & Lounge in DTLA on Thursday, April 26 @ 6 PM - 10 PM.

All Alumni, family and friends of Loyola HS are welcome to join us for a night of mixing and mingling at one of LA's most upscale ultra-lounges. Suede Bar will validate your parking at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel. ($7 for 5 hours as you mix with LAS.)

15% of all bar receipts during our fundraiser will benefit the LAS Scholarship Endowment Fund!

Welcome Reception For the accepted students of the Class of 2016

Message from Chair Ivan Ramirez

As we prepare for our Annual Freshman Welcome, we take note that upon welcoming the Class of 2016 we will have ushered in one full cycle of Latino Cubs. This event has become the Loyola Latino Alumni Society's cornerstone event. In other words, the most important event of the year. It's a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of prospective students and their parents. If we can encourage these students to select Loyola as their high school then we've done something that we all know will positively impact their lives forever.

Students and parents alike have questions like, "Why Loyola? Is it worth the cost? What's the dress code? How will I fit in?" We have carefully designed the Welcome Reception to be a welcoming and inviting environment where students and parents can interact with faculty, alumni and current students. In the last 3 years, this event has successfully convinced students and their parents that Loyola is the best option. And time and again, these same parents and students have come back to thank us for helping them make the right choice.

It would be great to have alumni on hand at the event to share their experiences, answer questions, alleviate concerns and encourage students to attend Loyola. We will be having a dedicated Q&A session for exactly this purpose.
